EnerSys®, the world leader in stored energy solutions is set to make its mark in the domestic and commercial renewable energy markets at the Intersolar exhibition in Munich. Backed by 125 years of pioneering 
stored energy systems, EnerSys is looking forward to unveiling its wide range of photovoltaic (PV) and renewable energy storage solutions on stand B1.434 at Intersolar between 10th and 12th June 2015. Anssi Laitinen, Marketing Director - Reserve Power EMEA explains: "Renewable energy meets the needs of a growing number of sectors that want to be more environmentally responsible whilst, at the same time, taking control of the power they use and back up their valuable asset by becoming independent from the utility companies.
In some cases, renewable power is the only available option, as it provides off-grid application and maximum reliability and safety, mitigating grid disturbances.
Laitinen adds: "Large scale energy storage can also be used to balance the grid against voltage and frequency variations: a challenge we see in multiple countries due the high penetration of renewable energy sources.

Solar energy is playing a greater role in providing home energy than ever before. The Home Solar Storage System puts consumers in control of their energy use, storing energy from the sun's rays throughout the day, allowing people to make the most of its power during periods of peak usage, such as mornings, evenings and weekends.
PV energy is only truly cost-effective when it can be stored, otherwise all that power goes to waste or it goe
s back to the grid at a fraction of its true value.

EnerSys will introduce visitors to Intersolar to its Home Solar Storage System, which makes it easy consumers to go green and help reduce their energy bills.
The EnerSys Home Solar Storage System is the leading lead-based system on the market, with a host of state-of-the-art features and a level of performance that is second-to-none.
The commercial applications of EnerSys PV systems are even broader, presenting significant cost savings across a range of business applications, allowing firms to reduce their carbon footprints and providing back-up power that is available when it is needed most.
EnerSys solar storage systems use thin plate pure lead technology that ensures reliability and efficiency. It is also one of the safest technologies in its field and is much more environmentally friendly due to good recyclability compared to many other technologies, like lithium ion. The Home Solar Storage System also includes a state-of-the art battery monitoring system, which set apart from its competitors.
